What the documents show
The company's own archived homepage states the system 'automatically detects the actor's performance based on single-camera footage' and transfers it to a chosen character, 'automatically animated, lit, and composed.' Critically, the same page states the tool 'automates 80 percent to 90 percent of objective VFX work and leaves the artist with the remaining subjective work' — the company's own figure, not an independently measured benchmark, but one that explicitly names a remainder of work left to a person. The company's own pricing page, from the same period, lists the deliverables a paying user actually receives: motion-capture data, a character pass, an alpha mask, a clean plate, a camera track, and a Maya or Blender scene file, each described as something to be opened and finished in other software.
The workflow
Per the company's own pricing page, a completed project can be exported as a Maya scene containing 'a preloaded character rig, animation data, lighting info, and a camera,' which a user is told to combine with 'an environment or clean plate' and render themselves to get a 'final VFX shot.' A separate clean-plate export — the original footage with the actor removed — is described as something to 'edit further to fix any unwanted artifacts,' meaning the company's own documentation assumes a cleanup pass is needed before the shot is finished.
What the tool does not change
The company's own 80–90 percent figure explicitly reserves a share of the work, described as 'subjective,' for the artist. The pricing page's own language about fixing 'unwanted artifacts' in a clean plate describes ordinary compositing cleanup that the tool does not claim to complete on its own. Exporting to Maya or Blender rather than a finished render means lighting, environment integration, and final grading remain tasks for whoever receives that scene file.
