About Screen Method
A craft-first journal about AI filmmaking, visual storytelling, and keeping control of the work.
Who this is for
Filmmakers, editors, producers, and visual storytellers working across live action, animation, and generative images.
The craft owns the tool
We start with story, image, performance, and the edit. Generative tools can enter that process in many ways. The important questions are what a shot must do, what the filmmaker can control, and what needs review.
The launch journal contains proposed production methods, not performed model comparisons. No stock image on the site is evidence of our own film production. A future tool test must identify its inputs, version, conditions, limitations, and results before it earns that label.

Sources, examples, and authorship
Guides combine source research with editorial synthesis. Source links support the factual descriptions; planning examples and suggested methods are identified as such. These pages do not claim interviews, professional credentials, or named authors who have not contributed.
Commercial relationships
This edition has no sponsored articles, paid directory placements, or affiliate links. If a future page includes a commercial relationship, it must explain that relationship beside the relevant content.
Corrections and contributions
